Sales Policy

We will not take deposits on kids until they are on the ground and we decide who will be retained.  Then a non-refundable deposit of 1/2 the purchase price is required to reserve your kid once they are posted as available. The deposit will hold a kid until weaned unless other arrangements have been made. Please let me know if you are interested in an animal from a certain breeding so I can put you on a reservation list.  If the animal becomes unavailable due to our decision or unforeseen circumstances, then all payments will be refunded (or transferred toward the purchase of a different goat at the request of the buyer). All sales are final. 

ALL kids will be disbudded before they leave if they are not polled.  We DO NOT sell horned goats.  Dairy goats cannot be shown with horns and are less marketable with horns.

ALL kids will receive 2 doses of CD&T prior to leaving if staying until weaned.  If you wish not to have them vaccinated, please notify us before the kid is 4 weeks old.  Payment must also be made in full at that time.  

Once an animal leaves, it cannot be returned to protect the bio-security of my herd.  You have the right to have any animal you purchase examined, on our property by a Veterinarian, at your expense prior to pick up. If, at this pre purchase exam the vet finds the animal to be unsound, any deposits will be refunded.  Kids are healthy at the time they leave our property. I can not guarantee the health of the animal once it leaves our property. Since, I can no longer control the animals environment or management once they leave my care, I assume no responsibility.

All adult animals MUST be picked up within 30 days after deposit is made. The ONLY exception will be if something else is agreed upon prior to deposit.  If not picked up in 30 days, the animal will be retained or posted for sale.

Payments can be made in cash or through PayPal however, any payments not made in cash MUST clear the bank before the animal will be allowed to leave the farm. If the buyer is completing payment at pick-up or transport, then the final payment must be made in cash.  Transportation within 2 hours can be arranged for an additional fee.
